Terms of Service

iziwerk ("iziwerk", "we", "us", "our") is a service operated by SIA ConsultEd, registration no. 40203554286, Rēzeknes pulka iela 26 - 42, Jūrmala, Latvia. Contact: hello@iziwerk.com.

By creating an account or using iziwerk, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use iziwerk.

1. What iziwerk is — and is not.

iziwerk is a software platform that helps freelancers organize and manage their own client relationships — proposals, messages, files, invoices, and documents. iziwerk is a neutral tool. We are not a party to any relationship, agreement, or transaction between a freelancer and their client. We are not an employer, agent, broker, partner, escrow agent, or payment processor for the work arranged between users, and we do not introduce, vet, endorse, or guarantee any user, their identity, skills, conduct, or reliability.

2. Your own decisions and due diligence.

You are solely responsible for your own decisions and for your dealings with other users — including deciding who to work with, agreeing scope, price, and terms, doing your own due diligence, and protecting your own interests. iziwerk does not verify or guarantee any user or any work, and any trust or reliance you place on another user is entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible for, and you will not hold us responsible for, the acts, omissions, content, deliverables, conduct, or payment behaviour of any other user, or for the results of your own choices.

3. Disputes between users.

Any dispute between a freelancer and a client — about work quality, deliverables, scope, deadlines, non-payment, refunds, conduct, or anything else — is solely between those users. iziwerk is not a party to it, is not obligated to mediate or resolve it, and is not liable for it. We may, at our discretion and as a courtesy, offer tools or informal help toward fair outcomes, but this does not make us responsible for any dispute or its result and creates no obligation to do so in any other case. To the extent permitted by law, you release iziwerk from all claims arising out of your dealings with another user.

4. Eligibility and accounts.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for your account, keeping your login secure, and all activity under it. Clients join by invitation only and may access only the single project they were invited to.

5. Acceptable use.

You agree not to use iziwerk for anything unlawful; upload malware or prohibited/executable file types; infringe others' rights; harass, deceive, or defraud other users; attempt to breach security or access data you are not authorized to; or upload content you do not have the right to share. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Fees and payments.

iziwerk charges a subscription fee for use of the platform, per the plan you choose. Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and access continues to the end of the paid period. Our fee is only for the platform. We do not process, collect, hold, or transfer any payment between a freelancer and their client — those payments are made directly between the users through their own methods. Invoice statuses shown in iziwerk (sent, paid, confirmed) are records maintained by the users themselves and are not a representation by iziwerk that any payment was actually made or received.

7. Your content.

You keep ownership of the content and files you upload. You grant iziwerk a limited licence to host, store, and display that content solely to provide the service to you. Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Service provided "as is".

To the maximum extent permitted by law, iziwerk is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. We do not warrant any outcome from your use of iziwerk or your dealings with other users.

9. Limitation of liability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: iziwerk is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill; iziwerk is not liable for the acts or omissions of any other user; and iziwerk's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid to iziwerk in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including non-waivable consumer or statutory rights.

10. Indemnity.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to hold iziwerk harmless from claims and losses arising from your misuse of the platform, your breach of these Terms, your content, or your dealings with other users.

11. Suspension and termination.

We may suspend or terminate access for breach or misuse. You may stop using iziwerk and delete your account at any time.

12. Intellectual property.

iziwerk, its software, branding, and design are ours and protected by law. These Terms grant you only the limited right to use the service.

13. Changes to these Terms.

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you and, where required, ask you to accept the updated Terms before continuing. The version and date above reflect the current Terms.

14. Governing law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Latvia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Riga, Latvia, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.

15. Acceptance.

By ticking the acceptance box at sign-up and using iziwerk, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
