1. Who we are.

iziwerk is a platform for freelancers to manage their client work, operated by SIA ConsultEd, registration no. 40203554286, Rēzeknes pulka iela 26 - 42, Jūrmala, Latvia. SIA ConsultEd is the data controller for the account and platform data described here.

2. What we collect.

• Account data — your email and name.
• Profile and business details you add — e.g. business name, address, VAT/tax ID for your documents.
• Content you create or upload — projects, proposals, invoices, messages, and files.
• Client data — where you invite a client, their email and the project information you share with them.
• Usage and technical data — log and device information needed to run and secure the service.
• Payment data — handled by our payment provider (see §4); we do not store full card details.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis.

We use your data to provide the service and your account (performance of our contract with you); to keep the platform secure and prevent abuse (our legitimate interests); to send you service and transactional emails; and to comply with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

4. Who we share it with (sub-processors).

We use trusted providers to run iziwerk: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage, hosted in the EU); Stripe (subscription payments); and Resend (transactional email). Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms and data-processing agreements. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Where your data is stored.

Your data is hosted in the European Union (Supabase, Frankfurt region).

6. How long we keep it.

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer period is required by law.

7. Your rights.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, export (portability), and restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. Contact hello@iziwerk.com to exercise these. You also have the right to complain to your data-protection authority (in Latvia, the Data State Inspectorate / Datu valsts inspekcija).

8. Cookies and local storage.

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to sign you in and run the service (for example, your login session). We do not use advertising trackers.

9. Security.

We protect your data with measures including encrypted transport, authentication (including two-factor and passkeys), and strict per-account data isolation enforced at the database. No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your data seriously.

10. Children.

iziwerk is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes.

We may update this policy; the version and date above reflect the current version, and we will notify you of material changes.
