iziwerk runs the same client work — proposals, files, chat, invoices, one space per client — for a flat €12 or €24 a month, and takes no percentage of anything you get paid. Below: what each one does better, using HoneyBook's own published figures and the date we read them.

Most of the differences are small. Two aren't.
Both tools do proposals, contracts, client files and invoices. If you're comparing feature lists you'll go round in circles. These are the two that change the answer.
Where you're allowed to sign up
HoneyBook's terms state they support professionals located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia, priced in USD, CAD, GBP or AUD. If you invoice in euro from an EU country, that decides it before any feature does. iziwerk is built and billed in euro, from Latvia.
Who moves the money
HoneyBook is the payment processor for money sent through it, and charges a percentage for that. iziwerk isn't in the payment path at all — your client pays you the way they already do. That's not a better rate; it's a different arrangement. The section below says exactly what it means.

"2.9% versus 0%" would be a lie. Here's the true version.
HoneyBook's percentage is a payment-processing fee, because HoneyBook is the processor. Putting it next to a zero and calling iziwerk cheaper would be comparing two different things — iziwerk has no such fee because it never handles the money, not because it found a cheaper way to.
So, plainly: with HoneyBook the money moves through HoneyBook, and their fee blog states "For cardholder-entered payments, HoneyBook charges 2.9% + $0.25 per transaction." With iziwerk the money never touches us — your client pays you directly, and whatever your bank or processor charges is between you and them. We add nothing to it and we never see it. What we charge is €12 or €24 a month, and that is the whole of it.

You get paid inside the tool
Card, bank transfer, Apple Pay and Google Pay, natively — plus instant deposits at a stated 1% fee. iziwerk tracks the invoice; your client still pays you elsewhere.
A built-in scheduler
Booking and calendar in the same product, from the Essentials plan up. iziwerk has no scheduler at all.
Automations with real logic
Conditional follow-ups, files and tasks that fire on their own. iziwerk's automation is narrower — invoice reminders and proposal nudges, on the Izi Werk plan.
Native iOS and Android apps
A real mobile app on both stores. iziwerk is a website that works well on a phone, which is not the same thing.
Team seats and QuickBooks
Team members from Essentials, unlimited on Premium, plus QuickBooks Online sync. iziwerk is single-operator and syncs with no accounting package.
Years of track record, and staffed support
An established company with human support seven days a week, and a template library including contracts they describe as "lawyer-approved and eSign-ready". iziwerk is new, and has no reviews yet — we don't pretend otherwise.

You want clients to pay by card inside the product · you rely on the scheduler or conditional automations · you need QuickBooks sync · you work with a team · you want a native phone app · you're in the US, Canada, UK or Australia and happy with the arrangement.
Try iziwerk if…
You're in the euro zone and can't open a HoneyBook account · you already have a payment method that works and don't want a platform in the middle · you'd rather pay one predictable fee than a percentage that grows with a good month · you're one person, not an agency.
What iziwerk doesn't do
No payment processing — card payments through your own Stripe account are coming, not shipped. No scheduler, no conditional automations, no accounting sync, no team seats, no native app, and no customer reviews yet. If any of those is the reason you're switching, we're the wrong answer.

"Can I use HoneyBook in the EU?"
Not as the business owner, according to HoneyBook's own site as of 31 July 2026. Their terms state they support professionals located in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia, with subscriptions priced in USD, CAD, GBP or AUD. No euro-zone country and no euro pricing is listed. iziwerk is priced in euro and run from Latvia.
"Does iziwerk take a percentage of my payments like HoneyBook does?"
No, because iziwerk never handles the payment. HoneyBook is the payment processor for money moved through it and states that "HoneyBook charges 2.9% + $0.25" per cardholder-entered transaction. With iziwerk your client pays you directly by whatever method you already use; whatever your bank or processor charges is between you and them, and iziwerk adds nothing to it.
"What does HoneyBook do that iziwerk doesn't?"
Quite a lot. HoneyBook takes payment inside the product, offers instant deposits, a built-in scheduler, automations with conditional logic, QuickBooks Online sync, native iOS and Android apps and team seats. iziwerk has none of those today. Card payments through your own Stripe account are listed as coming soon.
"Is there a free plan?"
iziwerk has a free tier called Taste — one active project, the full core workflow, free forever, no card. HoneyBook publishes a 30-day free trial with "no credit card required", and three paid plans, but no perpetual free plan. See our pricing

Two things we deliberately did not resolve
The Starter monthly price. HoneyBook's pricing page shows $29/month and their homepage shows "$36/month (billed monthly)" — on the same day. We quote only the annual $29 rather than pick one.
Whether the Essentials and Premium annual rates are promotional. Their pricing page carries "25% off" badges alongside those numbers. We list the figures as published and don't characterise them.
